Cast
Breakdown:
Mistress Ford – 35-55, a New Jersey housewife with too much
time on her hands. She is ornery, spirited, and tired of her husband’s
shenanigans.
Master Ford – 40-60, a wealthy New Jersey businessman who is
quick to suspect his wife of infidelity. He is a neurotic, suspicious
man whose greatest fear is to be cuckolded.
Nym/John – 20-45, Nym is a lowly Jersey thug that has been
fooled long enough by the idea that Falstaff is somebody in the mob.
Able to play two characters very differently.
Pistol/Robert – 20-45, is a lowly Jersey thug that has been
fooled long enough by the idea that Falstaff is somebody in the mob.
Able to play two characters very differently.
Mistress Page – 35-55, a New Jersey housewife with too much
time on her hands. Good hearted and trusting, but willing to go along
with her best friend’s crafty plans.
Master Page – 40-60, a wealthy, easy going New Jersey
businessman with a trusting, optimistic outlook on life. He loves and
trusts his wife, even in the face of evidence to the contrary.
Anne Page –16-26, the young daughter of Master and Mistress
Page. She is, on the outside, a very obedient daughter, but has a very
mischievous and rebellious underside.
Doctor Caius – 25-40, a flamboyant French heart surgeon
living in Windsor, New Jersey. An outrageously thick French accent,
and a mediocre understanding of the English language. Hot headed and a
little arrogant.
Mistress Quickly – 30-60, a lower class broad from the tough
parts of Jersey. She will do almost anything for a buck, so long as it
involves other people doing the dirty work. She’s smarter than she
appears.
Rugby/Robin – 20-30, able to play two characters distinctly.
Rugby is the weary medical intern for Doctor Caius, and Robin is a
rather innocent helper to Falstaff who is given to Mistress Ford.
Sir Hugh Evans – 40-60, a Welsh Priest living in New Jersey.
Thick Welsh/Scottish accent. He is a soft-hearted man who is scared of
violence and constantly trying to find God’s path in this imperfect
world.
Host of the Garter Inn – 40-60, a hardcore alcoholic who
runs a questionable motel and bar on the outskirts of Windsor, New
Jersey.
Sir John Falstaff – 45-65, an ex con who was kicked out of
the mob years ago, but refuses to let go of his mobster identity. In
his mind, he is still a John Gotti, but in reality he is a washed up
ex mobster with no money or connections left. Large sized man.
Fenton – 18-26, an ivy leaguer who grew up in
Windsor but is now trying to rid himself of his past. He has lost his
accent, but not his love for his old flame, Anne Page.
Robert Shallow – 30-45. An honest fellow, a judge who
carries his job with him at all times.
Abraham Slender –18-25. Nephew to Shallow. A rather
dim-witted, wide eyed fellow who lives off his unlce’s money. He sees
the world in utterly simple, black and white terms.
Simple – 18-25. Employee to Slender—perhaps a bit sarcastic
and droll.
