Teresa WaxerTERESA WAXER worked her way through UCLA as a word processor, earning a BA in Fine Arts and an MFA in Animation but went for the money – she became a Legal Word Processor and on the way, experienced the joys of motherhood.

6 years ago Teresa took her FIRST acting class, studying with Patrice Barrie at Roxbury Theater in Beverly Hills. Always looking for reasonably priced classes, she studied with Ivan Borodin at Beverly Hills High Adult School, and is currently enrolled at Santa Monica City College as a Theater Arts major.

Teresa's arrival on the stage was as the messenger in Night of January 16 at the Beverly Hills Community Theater. She handed a note to a major character. Teresa evolved to speaking 2 complete paragraphs in the Morgan-Wixson's production of Rumors as Officer Pudney.

Her acting highpoint so far, was as Mme. Constance, the Madwoman of Pásse, in Culver City Public Theater's Madwoman of Chaillot. 64 PARAGRAPHS!!!!! Last summer Teresa displayed her versatility – playing men, women and satyrs. She played old man Verges and a woman of the court in Much Ado About Nothing and a drunken elderly satyr, a judge and a party guest in King Midas, both for Culver City Public Theater.

Teresa Waxer enjoys working with Culver City Public Theater, currently as Secretary. Teresa can't wait to see what happens next!
