Trace Oakley, President
TRACE OAKLEY is delighted to serve on the Board of Directors for CCPT, having directed their production of his original play, THE MANITOU HOUSE in 2019 and 2018's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. Trace has directed more than 60 productions, and has more than 100 additional productions to his credit as either actor, playwright, producer, or administrator, working in his home town of Denver, on both coasts, and on national and international tours. Trace worked on the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of ROLLIN’ ON THE TOBA, and later stage managed and co-directed the Los Angeles production. He received a United Nations medal for distinguished service for his U.S. Department of Defense touring production, HOLLYWOOD HOMICIDE WHODUNNIT, which performed at military bases throughout Europe. He served as artistic director for Denver’s famed Chicken Lips Comedy Theatre. Trace is the proud co-founder of the Proof Doubt Closer Theatre Company, now in its fifth year.
Sophie Bell Meincke, Vice President
Sophie has been an actress, mime, swing dancer and lover of Shakespeare for decades. Growing up in New Orleans provided an ample theatrical lifestyle. She has been onstage since age three, from twirling around in NOLA ballets to miming at Jazz Fest.
Sophie was first introduced to CCPT as an actress in 2019, and joined as VP in 2020. She is delighted to be working with the CCPT team, and from writing grant applications to producing shows, she thoroughly enjoys putting her administrative hat on behind the scenes. She is particularly proud to be in a company that brings free theatre in the park to children each year.
In her "free" time, Sophie can usually be found at home, taking care of her wonderful daughter.
Jules M Patrick, 2nd VP
Jules loves Shakespeare, sitcoms and musicals, and geek culture. They’ve played Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, have filmed one of their D&D campaigns, and sing music from pop to operetta. It’s only a matter of time before they write and perform in that beloved TV musical satire set in Elizabethan-language Eberron. They just know it. Probably.
